Windows 7 Password Expired

There are many users who face these kind of issues. Either they forgot to update the password or they are not aware of that and one day suddenly the system shows that their password has been expired.

There are mainly 2 solutions for this issue. First is a pretty straight forward one where if you have multiple administrator account then you can switch to the other account and change the password for the account that is not allowing you to login.

The second solution is a tricky one

1) Go in to the BIOS and set the date to earlier than when the problem occurred and the save it, Bios key might differ according to the desktop/laptop manufacturer. Need to refer their website to get more information. Please be careful not to edit anything else in Bios. 🙂

2) The computer should boot normally

3) Adjust the password settings for the user in question

4) Don’t forget to set the date to normal in bios, save it and then reboot

Worked for me. This is the best solution that you can ever have.
